The author, Brian Lawless, a Londoner, has retired to Exeter from business but is still active as an
AmDram actor and also as a singer/guitarist who sings for older people concentrating on 1950’s,
1960’s and 1970’s music. Many of his gigs are for Memory Cafes and involve singing for the brain
for those with Alzheimer’s disease.
The Gardener’s Little Book Of Verse is his first book to be accepted for publication by a publisher
although he has previously self-published a couple of efforts. It was written after an inspiration
came to him in lockdown whilst gardening himself!
