No Mow May

Are you ready to say ‘no to the mow’?

The Wild Plant Conservation Charity Plantlife is encouraging us all to leave our mowers in the shed this May. It’s all part of a campaign to promote biodiversity by letting our lawns grow naturally throughout May.

The focus of the Plantlife Charity to create a lasting and positive change for wild flowers, plants and fungi. They support for all forms of our wildlife and natural biodiversity – from the larger open spaces of nature reserves, right down to the smallest garden plot.
