My water fountain

I decided I wanted a water feature of my own but I didn’t have the money or the patience for a complex, high-cost water feature that needed to be installed by a skilled landscape designer. So I started to research cheap, low maintenance alternatives to do it myself. I got the necessary supplies (I’ve included them in a list below) and got to work;

  • Small water garden pump
  • Small, cheap preformed plastic pond liner
  • A spirit level
  • Sand
  • I also wanted to include rocks and plants to my water feature to help it blend in with the rest of my garden.
  • I was lucky enough to have a power point close enough to where I wanted my water feature as this is the time when I would definitely recommend getting the professionals in.

I realised the most important thing was the location of my water feature; I chose to locate mine near my patio so that I could enjoy the soothing sounds of my water fountain whilst relaxing in the garden, plus I wanted to be able to make the most of all my hard work!
